Pre-Contruction

Paradigm recognizes that the pre-construction phase is the most critical phase of any project as it provides the platform for project success. There are multiple essential factors in this phase which highlight the need for the right team and the right approach. At Paradigm, we approach all projects with mutual success as our goal. Based on this, Paradigm pays keen attention to recruiting a team of industry experts to bring key experience and perspectives to bear on every project. We will immediately assign a team of planners comprised of estimators, schedulers and construction managers to craft practical construction budgets and timelines.

Importantly, Paradigm will have executive oversight during this early phase to ensure the project begins with clear and collective expectations while considering pathways for meeting and exceeding project goals. As part of the pre-construction process, a critical success factor is thorough due diligence, including the identification and management of constructability issues, phasing, end-user requirements and logistical challenges. Early awareness provides for team discussions and problem solving from the outset of the project. Following due diligence, we will develop a preliminary cost model and base-line schedule along with a logistic plan for the review.

The plan will include an outline of key milestones and design-development through the finalization of close-out. We will also provide a detailed schedule of alternates reflective of Value Engineering as well as possible alternate products [with the ability to achieve the same desired function] that may be more readily available on a quick ship option for the team to consider.

All required dates and milestones will be established including design development through finalization of close out. A detailed schedule of alternates will also be generated reflective of Value Engineering as well as alternate products that may be more readily available on a quick ship option while achieving the desired function of any such product.
